Akutaq or Agutak, also known as Eskimo ice cream, is a favorite food in western Alaska, consisting of whipped fat mixed with berries, with optional additions such as fish and sugar. This ice cream has many variations. The word comes from Yup'ik and means "something mixed." It consists of blueberries,cranberries and other fruits. The fruits mentioned above are common fruit used in this ice cream.
